If you’re looking for something to do with your family during March Break, a visit to Canada’s Agriculture Museum might be exactly what you are looking for and gives your kids the chance to get up close and personal with some new furry friends.
Special activities in February include a special highlight in the Food for Thought series: The Chocolate Journey. Ever wonder where your favorite chocolate bar really comes from? Join Erica Gilmour, co-owner of Hummingbird Chocolate, and explore the world of cacao farming and its impacts on crafting award-winning chocolate. The presentation will follow the chocolate journey — from the varieties of cacao and where they’re grown to the post-harvest process, as well as how those beautiful beans are turned into chocolate. This presentation will be given in English, followed by a bilingual question-and-answer period.
