Happy 2014 to all! The fun holiday activities are coming to a close this weekend, so take advantage. The weather might even be merciful.

The following holiday activities are (mostly) free and family-friendly. Have fun!

Olympic Park Outdoor Fun, through mid-March
Come skate on the outdoor rink (bring your own skates), marvel at the towering 20-meter decorated tree, enjoy hot chocolate and a warming fire, and be entertained by musicians, storytellers and performers. FREE.

Merry Montreal, weekends through Jan. 5
Come celebrate the holiday season in the Old Montreal where free participatory activities, entertainment and interactive experiences will be awaiting you. FREE.

December is undoubtedly one of the best times of the year to visit the Château Ramezay in Old Montreal – dress-up, baking, stocking-hanging, snowshoes, hot chocolate and more! $22 per family.
