Things To Do In Montreal This Weekend – January 10 – 12 2014

A somewhat quiet weekend, but still there’s still outdoor fun at Grand Parks toboggan hills and at the marvellous Luminotherapy. Those are ongoing to Spring. There are always plenty of things to do in Montreal this weekend!

The following holiday activities are (mostly) free and family-friendly. Have fun!

Friday, January 10
After-School Chess Club, 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM
The Montreal Children’s Library after school program is back in swing this week. All drop-in activities are bilingual and FREE.
Greene Center, 1090 Greene Avenue

Saturday, January 11
Build a Tic-Tac-Toe Game, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Learn to use glue and a hammer. Paint on the finishing touches. This activity is designed for kids aged 4 to 12. FREE (registration required)
Various Home Depot Locations.

Craft a Chilly Penguin, 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
You are invited to work with your hands and tinker & create a “chilly penguin” dressed in a colourful tuque. $14 per family
