Tell me, have you bought your ShamrockFest ticket yet? Still parked on the fence waiting for something better, something cheaper, something “everyday blahzay” to blow you straight into a pile rocks without the sham? How unlucky. And you know what I say? I say idle no more fellow Weekendtripper, find your all-star drinking roster and hit ShamrockFest 2013 because it’s worth every penny — you make your own luck, remember?
The party starts this Saturday, March 16, 2013 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Robert F. Kennedy (RFK) Memorial Stadium — the current home of MLS’s D.C. United, the Military Bowl, AT&T Nation’s Football Classic, and of course ShamrockFest’s 13th annual festival.
Why should you go?
ShamrockFest showcases 40+ musical performances including DJs on 9 massive stages. One ticket will gain access to 15 different party areas, beer truck bars that engulf two football fields, carnival rides, food, TVs to watch Mach Madness, DC Gael’s Shamrock pub games, prizes, all the beer you can drink (VIP ticket), and more – oh, and did we mention it was quoted in Beer Taste Magazine as the third best Saint Patrick’s Day party in the US?
Sure on a regular weekend music doesn’t entirely play an important role in “goodtimes.” But this is ShamrockFest – here it does — and it features noteworthy artists such as:
The Fighting Jamesons
Murder the Stout
Wild Colonial Bhoys
Rock, ALT , and INDIE Bands
Sublime with Rome
The Sheilds Brothers
Go Go Gadjet
Of Good Nature
Lost In Paris
