The Justice Conference takes place on February 22 and 23 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center (1101 Arch St., Philadelphia PA) is a two-day event, designed to promote dialogue around justice-related issues such as human trafficking, poverty, slavery, HIV/AIDS and human rights. The seminar invites critically-acclaimed speakers to speak on issues that and also opens its doors to hundreds of humanitarian organizations.
The Justice Conference was launched in 2010 by a group of friends in Oregon who wanted to make a change. The organization, headed up by Ken Wytsma, attempts to reach thousands of people all over the world by educating inspiring and connecting generations through a shared concern for the vulnerable and oppressed.
This year’s speaker list includes:
- Eugene Cho (Founder of One Day’s Wages)
- Dr. Brenda Salter McNeil (25 years of ministry experience in the field of racial, ethnic and gender reconciliation)
- Claire Diaz-Ortiz (Social Innovation Lead at Twitter, named one of Fast Company’s 100 Most Creative People)
- Shane Claiborne (Best-selling author)
