Hudson Kitchen‘s unassuming corner lot recently opened and breathed new life into the stretch of Dundas West (found at Dundas St. and Palmerston Ave.) at Bathurst Street. Here is our Toronto restaurant review for one of the city’s newest hotspots.

Helmed by Chef Robbie Hojilla (formerly of Woodlot and Ursa), the restaurant takes on contemporary American with a mix of Hojila’s Fillipino background. During Hudson Kitchen vast seven month renovation, the restaurant combined three buildings for its current space. Inside, patrons are greeted to exposed brick, huge windows for natural lighting and a wonderfully open kitchen complete with a chef’s table. Naturally, the space (with seating for 70 people) was a hit for the TIFF crowd who were looking for an event space just off the beaten path. Rumor has it that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston both ate here.
