Self-described “bubble scientist” Fan Yang was the original creator of the Gazillions of Bubbles show which is now being performed by his son Deni at New York City’s New World Stages (340 W. 50th St., New York City NY)
The 75-minute show primarily consists of generating a dazzling succession of bubbles in mind-bending configurations. This isn’t just the bubbles being blown at a children’s birthday party. They consist of a dazzling succession in different configurations that Yang fills with smoke and links into long chains. The show also features different colored lights and laser that serve to only intensify the experience.
During the show, kids are invited on stage to participate in various parts. One of the highlights is when the entire audience is figuratively placed under the sea or when Deni channels his inner Neo and turns the stage into a scene from The Matrix with green lasers.
