If you are planning a trip to Buffalo, perhaps for some great wings or a little shopping, one of our best recommendations is to visit Elmwood Village.
Located in the heart of downtown Buffalo, the funky area features great bars, boutiques, restaurants and galleries. The neighborhood dates all the way back to 1804 and the American Planning Association has called Elmwood Village one of the “10 Great Neighborhoods in America.”
If you walk or drive through Elmwood Village, you will find Queen Anne-styled homes that are all within walking distance of retail and public transportation. In addition, many of the homes are designed by H.H. Richardson, Frank Lloyd Wright, and Eliel and Eero Saarinen.
Notable shops in the area include Allentown Music where you can scope out vintage cigar box guitars and Poster Art USA to see Buffalo-specific fare.
Definitely worth the trip!
