If you think you were a mixologist in a previous life, the Manhattan Cocktail Classic taking place in New York City from May 17 – 21 is exactly what you are looking for. You can revel in five days of drinking and debauchery with 100 events about the sport of drinking and drink-making and these range from lectures to parties to pub crawls.
The main event is the opening night gala that is held in the New York Public Library’s Stephen A. Schwarzman Building. While exact details for are still being worked on, the 2012 event featured oysters, 20s-style Burlesque dancers and more than 30,000 hand-stirred cocktails.
