Get ready to whip out that contact list and call all of your go-to drinking buddies this weekend fellow Weekendtripper, the Buffalo Winter Brewfest 2013 takes your average weekend beer to a whole other level.
Located at the Connecticut Street Armory (184 Connecticut Street, Buffalo NY), a venue casting castle-like silhouettes and 19th century charm, the Buffalo Winter Brewfest invites beer lovers of every ilk to come and enjoy a true celebration of craft beer in Buffalo on Saturday February 2nd.
The event will host two sessions for convenience: First session is from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The second session goes from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
All attendees can expect to see over eighty varieties of local, domestic, and import beer — thirty more than last year`s fifty.
Beer reps from all over the country are also planned to show face and drink the night away. To keep the event alive and well, musicians will take stage and perform live as beer lovers mingle and toast.
But there`s more to the Buffalo Winter Brewfest than just guaranteed beers.
Each year, the Buffalo Winter Brewfest incorporates a new party theme.
Last year, the beads and masks of Mardi Gras ruled the floor. This year, Brewfest 2013 pays homage to the Irish: Think St. Patrick`s Day; think green.
Better yet, if you find yourself sloshed and unable to drive by the end of the night, Brewfest offers an onsite taxi service after each session for your convenience.
Tickets go for $35 in advance and $45 at the door. Designated Driver tickets are also available that includes free soda and water.
Cheers to beers!
