Celebrate The Year Of The Snake At Toronto Zoo This Weekend

on February 7, 2013

Viper Snake

I am a monkey. At least according to the Chinese calendar. What animal are you?

In celebration of the Chinese New Year, the Toronto Zoo (2000 Meadowvale Rd., Toronto ON) is celebrating 2013 being the year of the snake with a special snake exhibit. Guests can visit snakes in the indoor tropical pavilion and learn more about the often-misunderstood slithering subjects. In addition, kids can post for pictures with the zoo’s giant panda mascots, Er Shun and Da Mao as they help celebrate the New Year.

The special exhibit is open this weekend from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. If your kids bring in a valentine’s day card, it’s free admission!
