4 Things To Do In Detroit This Weekend

on October 31, 2013

The Motor City is humming with activity this weekend and we have four things to do in Detroit this weekend ideas that you can take advantage of.

1. Michigan State/Michigan Football Game

One of the biggest college football games in the state, the Michiga State/Michigan game takes place on Saturday and will be nationally televised on ABC. While tix are pricey, you can always check out the game at the new Buffalo Wild Wings downtown. There are 93 televisions at the location so you are sure not to miss a single play.

2. Brawl In The Fall At The Fillmore Detroit

Who doesn’t like a good fight every now and again. The Impact Fight League bring fight competition to a new level on Saturday. Consider it to be a cousin to Dana White’s Ultimate Fighting Championship. There will be plenty of mixed martial arts action and it is certain a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Tix range from $15 – $100 and are available at thefillmoredetroit.com

3. 100 Years Of Broadway At Detroit’s Fox Theatre

If you don’t feel like travelling to New York and you find Broadway tix to be a tad on the expensive side, Neil Berg’s 100 Years Of Broadway is a great option at the Fox Theatre this Sunday. Consider it as being Broadway on a budget. Tix range from $15 to 50 and can be purchased on the Ticketmaster website.

4. Pink Floyd At Pontiac’s Crofoot

This show almost makes me want to make the drive to Detroit. Described as both a music and light show, tomorrow night’s Pink Floyd tribute show at The Crofoot is bound to set a new precedent for fun on the weekend. Tix are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. For more info, visit TheCrofoot.com
