Fancy sitting on the sofa at Central Perk or grabbing a table at Monk’s Café this weekend? If either of those peek your interest then you should head for The Paley Center For Media (465 N Beverly Drive, Beverly Hills CA) in Los Angeles to catch the Warner Brothers Out Of The Box exhibit.

Celebrating almost 60 years of the studio’s hit television shows the exhibit features among the sets from Friends and Seinfield, costumes from classic television hits like Daisy’s ‘Daisy Dukes’ from the Dukes Of Hazzard, Wonder Woman’s costume complete with the Lasso of Truth, and JR’s Stetson hat and check book from Dallas. There are props, costumes and memorabilia from over 50 shows and include items from more recent shows like The Closer, Supernatural, V, True Blood (apparently everyone needs spare fangs), Gossip Girls and the show that made George Clooney a heartthrob, ER.

Take a seat in the Theme Song Theatre where you can watch theme songs from shows like The Flintstones, Friends, and if the mood takes you, you can take the stage and sing along! Budding cartoonists will love the hundreds of original cells and artwork, toys and lunch boxes from cartoon classics from Looney Tunes, Hanna-Barbera, and DC Entertainment that are also on display as part of the exhibit.

Entrance fee is $10 for adults with discounts for seniors, students and children. The Paley Center offers free parking and is closed Mondays and Tuesdays. See the website for more details.
