Add A Little Culture To Your Weekend With Sinfonia Toronto

on December 13, 2012

Sick of boy bands?  Does the thought of listening to more head-banging music make your head hurt already?  Want to impress the girl who has finally agreed to go out with you with your taste for the fine arts?

This might be just the ticket and the perfect Canada concert.

Sinfonia Toronto features Italian flute dynamo Mario Carbotta, along with an accompanying orchestra of thirteen string instrument players. The group plays everything from Beethoven’s Serenade to Bizet’s Carmen and is guaranteed to give you a deeper appreciation for classical music or at least make you seem like you do.

Tickets range from $12 – $39 and the December 14 show takes place at Toronto’s CBC’s Glenn Gould Studio (250 Front Street West).
